Impero Ventures is the bridge to ownership

He is the founder and CEO of Impero Ventures. Impero is Italian for empire, and the whole company rests on one line: owning is greater than earning. Impero exists for the people who already generate the value and own none of it. Doctors and nurses. Commercial reps. Attorneys and CPAs. Engineers and technical experts. The person who runs the numbers. Senior operators and executives who have spent an entire career making someone else's balance sheet work. The expertise is already theirs. Impero turns it into equity.

The record behind that: nine of his companies reached 7-figure revenue, and three crossed 8 figures. The largest was Mendota Health, the nurse-practitioner-led mobile wound care company he founded and ran as CEO, taking it from zero to $70 million in under five years and through its exit.

His path didn't start in a boardroom. It started with four and a half years in the U.S. Navy: Yokosuka, Pearl Harbor, and after 9/11, Naples. Boatswain's Mate Second Class, Surface Warfare qualified, search and rescue swimmer. Composure under pressure isn't something he was born with. It was trained into him in cold water. He earned his MBA from Concordia University–St. Paul after he got out.

He co-hosts Burn Rate + Bull$hit with Josh Robinson, an unfiltered show on the real mechanics of building, financing, and exiting companies. Since launching in late 2025 it has grown to a million subscribers and more than 45 million views, one of the fastest-growing business channels on YouTube.

He runs two venture funds, Big Stone Capital Group and Exit 156. He sits on the boards of Vail Scientific, Bilt Ventures, NEOS Elite Performance, SurgiSmoke, EruptCinn, and Sharp Biomedical, and on the St. John's University Private Investment Fund, which invests directly on behalf of his alma mater. He is a former board member of NightWare and Brother Justus Whiskey Co., and he serves on the Augsburg University Business Advisory Council.

In 2025 Twin Cities Business named him one of its Top 100 Business People to Watch.
